Honor Blackman was an English actress famed for portraying such notable characters as Hera from the 1963 fantasy film Jason and the Argonauts and Bond Girl Pussy Galore from the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger starring Sean Connery as agent James Bond.
On television, Blackman is known for starring in the British spy-fi television series The Avengers, in which she played the character Cathy Gale.
Family Life
Her first marriage was to Bill Sankey. The marriage lasted from 1946 to 1954. Her second marriage was to actor Maurice Kaufmann in 1961. She and Maurice adopted two children before getting a divorce in 1975.
Trivia
She was offered a CBE in 2002 but declined it.
