About Herman Cain
Appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Godfather's Pizza in 1986, Herman Cain was one of the successful American businessmen of his generation. He was also a well-known politician and a writer who was very active during the Republican presidential elections in 2011.
In 1996, he was named the chairmen of Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, after serving as the deputy chairman for two years. Between 1996 and 1999, he became the chairman and president of the National Restaurant Association.
Family
He was raised by his parents called Luther and Lenora Davis Cain. He tied the knot with Gloria Etchison in 1968 and together they had two children namely Vincent and Melanie.
Death
He suffered from the complications of the 2019-20 global pandemic in June 2020, which eventually killed him after battling with the virus for four weeks.
Trivia
During his run for the 2012 Republican presidency, he suggested for the “9–9–9 tax plan” to replace the existing tax laws.
