About Henry Thomas
Henry Thomas started out in Hollywood in 1981 as a child actor. His first screen role was Harry in the drama film, “Raggedy Man”. He did not have to wait long to get his big break as he shot to instant fame with his next performance as Elliot in the 1982 sci-fi film, “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial”.
He has since landed consistent film and television roles and even successfully transitioned to adult roles. Notable amongst them are Young Hugh Crain in the series “The Haunting of Hill House” and Ray Buckey in the TV film, “Indictment: The McMartin Trial”.
Family Life
He was raised by his parents, Henry Thomas Sr. and Carolyn Davis in Texas. Actress Marie Zielcke, to whom he was married from 2004 to 2007, is the mother of his daughter, Hazel. He and his second wife, Annalee, have two children together.
Achievements
He won a Young Artist Award in 1983 and a Saturn Award in 2019.
Trivia
In the 1990s, he performed as a member of The Blue Heelers, a defunct San Antonio, Texas-based band.
