About Heinrich Heine
Heinrich Heine was an 18th century poet of German nationality. He was known for his unique style of writing. Many of his works were banned by the German government due to the radical political opinions contained in those books.
Heine wrote several works including “Die Romantik” (Romanticism) in 1820, “Briefe aus Berlin (Letters from Berlin) in 1822, and “Der Salon. Erster Teil” (The Salon I) in 1833.
Education
Heine obtained his education at the University of Bonn, the University of Göttingen and the University of Berlin.
Personal Life
He was the offspring of Samson Heine and Peira née van Geldern. His three siblings were Gustav Heine von Geldern, Maximilian and Charlotte. Heine got married to Crescence Eugenie Mirat.
