Personal Life
When he was born, he was given the name Hal Brett Needham by Howard Needham and Edith May Robinson, his parents. He had two older siblings. He got into the United States Army when he was old enough and served as a paratrooper. He later got married a few times to three women, Arlene R. Wheeler then Dani Crayne before ending up with Ellyn Wynne Williams.
Career
His acting career started in 1958 when he was cast as a Courtroom Spectator in “The Friend Who Walked the West” then got featured in over twenty movies after that. In 1974, he was offered his first directing gig in “The Longest Yard”. He went on to direct about twenty shows more. Some of the shows he acted in are “Death Car on the Freeway” and “W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings”.
Trivia
After breaking over fifty bones in his body, losing a few teeth and puncturing a lung, he was alleged to be the highest paid stuntman in the world.
Death
He was informed he had cancer later in life and not long after finding out, he passed away in 2013.
