About Hakan Şükür
The Turkish ex-football striker, Hakan Şükür, played for Galatasaray. In 1987, he made his club debut. Five years later, he made his first appearance for the Turkish senior national team. Şükür made 709 appearances and netted 332 goals for the various clubs he played for during his playing days.
At the national level, he made 112 appearances while scoring 51 goals. The clubs he has played for include Sakaryaspor, Bursaspor, Galatasaray, Torino, and Inter Milan.
Personal Life
Şükür first married Esra Elbirlik but divorced her shortly after the marriage. He later married Beyda. His three children are Buse Şükür, Ömer Şükür and Zeynep Şükür.
He became an MP in Turkey in 2011.
Awards
He was a three-time top scorer in the Turkish Süper LigTop. He also won the Golden Foot Legends Award in 2014. Again, Şükür won several trophies including Coppa Italia in 2001, Turkish Cup, Süper Lig, and UEFA Cup.
