Personal Life
Her full name was Giulia Anna Masina and she was born to a mother who was a teacher and a father who worked as a violinist. She had three other siblings.
Masina lived with her parents but after some time, she moved in with the widow of the playwright Luigi Pirandello. While there, she was enrolled in Ursuline convent where she got good training in dance and piano.
She later crossed paths with Federico Fellini and became his wife. They had two chances to be parents but the first one ended in a miscarriage and the second one died a few days after birth from encephalitis.
Career
Because of her talent, she has earned the opportunity to feature in different shows including “Behind Closed Shutter”, “Angels of Darkness”, “Seven Hours of Trouble”, “At the Edge of the City”, “Pardon, Are You for or Against?” and “Don’t Sting the Mosquito”.
Death
In 1993, she lost her husband to death but she was diagnosed with cancer so about five months after his death, she also passed away.
