About Gilda Radner
Gilda Radner was an American actress and comedian best known for her work as on original cast member on the popular NBC sketch comedy and variety show Saturday Night Live, for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award. Her most memorable film credits include 1982's Hanky Panky, 1984's The Woman in Red and 1986'sHaunted Honeymoon.
Personal Life
She was married to guitarist G.E. Smith from 1980 to 1982. She and Smith never had children together. In 1984, she married her second husband actor Gene Wilder. The marriage was also childless and lasted until her death in 1989.
Trivia
She died of ovarian cancer.
In 1990, she won a Grammy Award posthumously.
In 2003, she was posthumously honored again with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
