A graduate of the University of Bologna law school, he became a member of the Italian Socialist Party during his law practice.
Notable Facts
After his re-election to the Chamber of Deputies in 1921, he served as the party’s general secretary and oversaw terrorist attacks on left-wingers. After less than two weeks of condemning the actions of Mussolini and his fascists in parliament, he suffered a barbaric attack and was eventually killed.
