About George Stephanopoulos

George Stephanopoulos is an American journalist, former United States Democratic Party political advisor, and chief anchor of ABC News.

Career

George Stephanopoulos has always shown an interest in politics, starting with earning a political science degree from Colombia University in New York. He started his career working for Michael Dukakis during his campaign for U.S. President. He also was one of the most important people in charge of Bill Clinton's 1992 campaign for President, and dealt with most of the White House press when Clinton was in office. Stephanopoulos is now the chief anchor and chief political correspondent for ABC News.
