Personal Life
Eugene Klass is his name at birth. His father was Martin Klass and his mother was Eva. He is a descendant of Jewish grandparents from Russia. He got interested in music at a young age and learnt to play the violin. When he got older, he got into New Utrecht High School and went on to Chatham Square School of Music. He got married to Betty Claire Kalb but she died in 2003.
Career
In 1942, he featured in “The Moon” where he played the role of Captain Paul Duval. In the same year, he featured in “Rosalinda” where he played the role of Falke. He has been in other shows including “The Atomic City” in 1952 where he played the role of Dr Frank Addison and “The Adventurer” in 1972 where he played the role of Gene Bradley. He has been in over fifty shows as of 2005.
Death
In 2009, he died from congestive heart failure and was buried beside his wife at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery.
