About Gary Dell'Abate
Gary Dell'Abate rose to national prominence as the executive producer of the American radio show, “The Howard Stern Show” during its period of national syndication (1986-2005). He has worked on the show, hosted by radio and television personality and comedian Howard Stern, since September 1984. He has been an avid AIDS awareness activist after the disease killed his brother.
Family Life
He was raised in an Italian-American family in Uniondale, New York. His mother, Ellen Cotroneo and father, Salvatore Dell’Abate, worked as a Macy’s food demonstrator and a Haagen-Dazs ice cream salesman respectively. He married Mary Caracciolo in 1992. They have two children together.
Trivia
In 2010, he released an autobiography titled “They Call Me Baba Booey”.
