Otherwise known as Batigol, Gabriel Batistuta is considered as one of the prolific goalscorers to ever play the game of soccer. He made his name while playing for Italian team, Fiorentina, between 1991 and 2000. He also featured for other top teams like A.S. Roma, Boca Juniors, and Newell's Old Boys.
Batistuta made his first appearance for the Argentine senior national side in 1991. That same year, he helped his country to win the Copa América and was named the top goalscorer of the tournament.
He has also represented his country in other major tournaments including the FIFA World Cup, and FIFA Confederations Cup.
