About Franklin D. Roosevelt
Franklin D. Roosevelt was the 32nd President of the United States who served a record four terms as President of the United States from 1933 to 1945. He helped the United States recover from the depth of the Great Depression with his sweeping economic reform called the “New Deal” and successfully led the country through World War II. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest U.S. Presidents ever, along with Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. He died three months into his fourth term as President.
Personal Life
He married Eleanor Roosevelt in 1905 and fathered six children with her.
Trivia
He was diagnosed with polio in 1921, which left him paralyzed from his waist down. He, however, fought to regain the use of his legs.
