About Florence Henderson
Florence Agnes Henderson used her singing skills acquired from her mother’s home lessons to good use when she began performing in stage musicals in the early 1950s. Within that period, she also appeared in productions on Broadway including “Fanny” as the title character and the originator of the role in 1954.
She is recalled best for her portrayal of the character Carol Brady in the sitcom “The Brady Bunch” between 1969 and 1974. She was the host of “Who’s Cooking with Florence Henderson”, a cooking show and “The Florence Henderson Show”, a talk show.

She was born to Joseph and Elizabeth Henderson as the last of their 10 children. She had four children with Ira Bernstein, her husband from 1956 to 1985.
From 1987 to 2002, when he died, she was married to Dr. John Kappas.
Achievements
She received three Gracie Awards in her lifetime.
