Felicity K. Huffman is an American actress best known for her portrayal of “Lynette Scavo” in the popular comedy-drama series, Desperate Housewives as well as her role as “Dana Whitaker” in Sports Night.
Family Life
She was born to Moore Peters Huffman and Grace Valle, however, she later found out that her biological father was a family friend known as Roger Tallman Maher. She grew up with her six sisters.
In 1997, she married actor William H. Macy and has had two daughters named Georgia and Sofia with him.
Achievements
She received a Golden Globe Award and a nomination for an Academy Award for her role as a transgender woman in the 2005 film, Transamerica.
In 2012, she was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Huffman picked up an award in the category of Best Actress at the San Diego Film Festival in the year 2015.
Trivia
In 2019, she was arrested and imprisoned for bribing an examiner to correct SAT questions answered wrongly by her daughter.
