Ezra Pound was an American poet.

He is mainly responsible for discoving and shaping the work of his contemporary artists, such as T. S. Eliot, James Joyce and Ernest Hemingway.
Ernest Hemingway once wrote: "The best of Pound's writing – and it is in the Cantos – will last as long as there is any literature".
Arthur Miller had also stated: "In his wildest moments of human vilification, Hitler never approached Ezra".
His Personal Life
He supported Benito Mussolini's fascism and Adolf Hitler, while he often wrote for the British fascist Oswald Mosley.
In 1945, he was incarcerated in St. Elizabeths psychiatric hospital in Washington for more than 12 years.
He was married once.
