Reality television star and model Evelyn Alexandra Lozada joined the main cast of “Basketball Wives” from its inception in 2010. Her television career also includes appearances on “Livin’ Lozada”, a reality show following her life and that of her daughter. She has also co-authored the novels “The Wives Association: Inner Circle” and “The Perfect Date”.
Family Life
She and her sister were born to Sylvia Ferrer and Nengo Lozada. The sisters were brought up in The Bronx, New York City, by Sylvia. Evelyn has Puerto Rican heritage.
For ten years (1998 to 2008), she was in a relationship with former NBA star, Antoine Walker, who later became her fiancé. Her first daughter, Shaniece, is the product of a relationship between her and Jamal Harston.
She also has a son, Carl, through a relationship with MLB player Carl Crawford. Her marriage to former NFL star Chad Johnson in July 2012 lasted only three months after he subjected her to domestic abuse.

She created “Turn Hurt Into Joy”, an online fundraising campaign for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.
