He’s the son of Silvia Derbez, an actress, and Eugenio González Salas, a publicist. Between 1992 and 1997, he was married to an actress called Victoria Ruffo. He later married singer and actress, Alessandra Rosaldo, in 2012. His children are called José Eduardo Derbez, Aislinn Derbez, Aitana Derbez, and Vadhir Derbez.
