Personal Life
When he was born his parents, Faye Imogene Cline and Ernest Christy Cline, named him Ernest Christy Cline. He grew up falling in love with video games and watching movies. He liked to put his imagination on paper too, especially based on the games and movies he watched.
In 2003, he decided to marry Susan Somers-Willett who he had met early on. The marriage produced a daughter but about a decade later, they went their separate ways. About three years after the marriage went down the drain, he met and married Cristin O’Keefe Aptowicz. Their relationship had started in the same year he had gotten divorced even though they had met about five years prior.
Career
Growing up, his mother was diagnosed with cancer and this pushed him into writing in a way. During that time, he started working on “Fanboys”, a screenplay. His connections led him to getting his work produced. In 2009, the film got released.
Some of the novels he has worked on include “Ready Player One” and “Armada”. He also worked on short stories like “The Omnibot Incident” and “The Importance of Being Ernest”.
