About Erin Gray
Erin Gray’s original dream was to become a model. At the age of 14 years, she participated in her first modelling competition which she eventually won. The success gave her an opportunity to appear in many television commercials. During the 1970s she was one of the highest paid TV models in the United States.
Acting career
Gray later developed a love for acting. She got her first film role in 1978 when she was cast in the movie entitled “Evening in Byzantium”. Her performance in the television series titled “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century”, where she appeared as Colonel Wilma Deering, shot her to national fame.
Other movies and television series that she has starred in include “Silver Spoons” and “Finding Grace”.
Family
She spent her early years with her parents named Daniel and Diane Gray. Her marriage to Ken Schwartz ended in 1990. The union produced a son called Kevan Ray Schwartz. In 1991, she married Richard Hissong with whom she has a child named Samantha.
Education
She attended Redwood High School, and Pacific Palisades High School before joining the University of California, Los Angeles where she read mathematics.
Trivia
She published a book titled “Act Right” in 1998.
