Career
Eric Church moved to Nashville soon after he graduated high school to pursue a career in music. He started by writing songs for Terri Clark and Dean Miller. In 2006, he was signed to Capitol Nashville records. He recorded his first album, Sinners Like Me, and he soon performed for the first time at the famous Grand Ole Opry. He has since recorded four other records. Church's style is considered “country outlaw” by most rather than traditional country. He is influenced by musicians including Hank Williams Jr. and Merle Haggard.
