Eduardo Yáñez’s first acting role was as Carlos in the popular Mexican soap opera entitled “Quiéreme siempre”. He started gathering international attention after he traveled to the United States in 1991 and starred in the telenovela “Marielena”.
His roles in other Hollywood movies such as “Megiddo” and “Wild Things” have further increased his fame in the United States.
Private Life
He was raised by his mother. In 1987, he tied the knot with Norma Adriana Garcia. Before their breakup in 1990, they raised a son called Eduardo Yáñez Jr. Between 1996 and 2003, he was the husband of American journalist and actress Francesca Cruz.
He has also been in a relationship with Africa Zavala, and Erika Buenfil.
