Drew Drechsel’s talent as a parkour performer garnered him attention on the Japanese sports variety show, “Sasuke” before he became a household name in the United States. He gained national attention for his participation in the American spin-off of “Sasuke” known as “American Ninja Warrior”. He made his debut in the third season of the show in 2011 and finally won the 11th season in 2019.

Controversy
In August 2020, he was arrested and charged with having sex with a minor. He also solicited sexually explicit images from the victim, who was 14 years old at the time. Organizers of “American Ninja Warrior” subsequently cut ties with him.
