About Dominique Dunne
Dominique Dunne started acting professionally during her training at a workshop organized by Milton Katselas. During that period, she appeared in many stage productions such as “My Three Angels”. After gaining some amount of experience, she moved to television with the 1979 film titled “Diary of a Teenage Hitchhiker” being her first notable work. She was best celebrated for her role in the film dubbed “Poltergeist” where she appeared as Dana Freeling.

Death
According to reports, Dunne went into a coma after she was strangled by her former lover Sweeney. She gave up the ghost five days later. Sweeney was arrested and was imprisoned for 3 ½ years after he was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter.
