About Dominick Dunne
The former writer and Hollywood producer is famed for writing the bestsellers “The Two Mrs. Grenvilles” and “People Like Us.” He loved to write about the wrongdoings of rich and powerful men in a way only he can.
Early Life & Education
He was born in 1925 in Hartford, Connecticut. He was the second child of 6 children. He graduated from Williams College in 1949.
Family Life
He got married to Ellen Beatriz in 1965. The marriage, which lasted from 1954 to 1965, produced 3 children – Alexander, Griffin, and Dominique. His daughter Dominique Dunne was murdered by her boyfriend in 1982.
Career
He started his career as a film producer, but later in 1984, worked as a columnist at Vanity Fair. He covered the famous case of the Menendez Brothers and was Vanity Fair’s special correspondent for the O. J. Simpson's trial.
Death
Dunne died of bladder cancer a year later in 2009. He was 83.

He publicly shared his belief that O. J. Simpson was guilty of the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole and her friend, Ron.
