Samuel Bouriah, popularly known as DJ Sammy, is a Spanish-born Disk Jockey and record producer who has produced some hit singles and smooth mixes.
Early Life and Education
Sammy started his career as a DJ in 1984 by playing in pubs and small gatherings. He secured a certificate at the Mallorca Music College, which enabled him to secure his first professional job as a DJ at the Cadena Top Radio Station in 1990.
Career
Sammy made his first hit single, "Life Is Just a Game," in 1995 with his ex-wife Marie Jose van der Kolk. He went on to create other singles such as "You're my Angel" in 1996, "Golden Child" in 1997, and "Why" in 2005. The Spanish also produced some studio albums, such as "Heaven" in 2002 and "The Rise" in 2005. He also produced his CD mix called "DJ Sammy at Work" in 1998.
Personal Life
Sammy was married to Marie Jose van der Kolk, popularly known as Loona, from 2005 to 2008. By Marie, he has a child named Chloe Marín.
