Didier Drogba is an Ivorian professional footballer best known for his stellar career with Chelsea F.C., where he holds the distinction as the top scoring foreign player of all time and the fourth highest goal scorer overall. After arriving in 2004, he led Chelsea to the club’s first title in 50 years in the Premier League and bagged another one the following year. Drogba also led Chelsea to their first title in the UEFA Champions League in 2012.
International Career
Droga is also known for his work with the Ivory Coast national team, leading them to their first appearance in the FIFA World Cup in 2006 as well as in 2010 and 2014. He was the team’s former captain and is also their all-time leading scorer.
