Dick Van Dyke is an actor known for portraying the character Albert F. Peterson in the 1963 film Bye Bye Birdie and Caractacus Potts in the 1968 film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He also starred in The Dick Van Dyke Show from 1961 to 1966.
Personal Life
In 1948, he married Margie Willett and had four children with her. After the marriage ended, he lived with Michelle Triola from 1976 until her death in 2009. He later married Arlene Silver in 2012.

He has earned numerous awards and accolades, including a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and an induction into the Television Hall of Fame. He is also the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award in Comedy and the Screen Actors Guild's highest honor the SAG Life Achievement Award.
