Diana Dors was a well-known British actress and singer who rose to prominence in the early 1960s as a beauty bombshell. She was likened to famous American entertainer Marilyn Monroe.
She was known for her roles in sex comedy films but later gained a new level of public recognition as a performer on television. She was also used in many films and television series such as "Bedtime with Rosie", "Theatre of Blood" and "Dancing with Crime”.

She grew up as the only child of Winifred Maud Mary and Albert Edward. She married Richard Dawson (from 1959 to 1966), Dennis Hamilton (from 1951 to 1959), and Alan Lake in 1968. She left behind three namely Jason Lake, Gary Dawson, and Mark Dawson.
