About Dhani Harrison
Dhani Harrison is an English singer-songwriter, musician and composer. As the son of a music legend, George Harrison of the Beatles, he was exposed to the art of making music at a very young age. However, he did not debut until 2001, when he took over the completion of his late father’s last album, “Brainwashed” with help from Jeff Lynne. Since then, he has gone on to find fame as a member of his band, ‘thenewno2’, a solo act, and a composer. “IN///PARALLEL” was released in 2017 as his first solo album.
Family Life
His American mother, Olivia Harrison, is an author and film producer. From 2012 to 2016, he was married to Sólveig "Sóla" Káradóttir, Icelandic neurologist Kari Stefansson’s daughter.
Achievements
He earned an International Documentary Association Award nomination for writing the song for the documentary, “Matangi/Maya/M.I.A.”.
Trivia
He has toured with rock band ELO and Eric Clapton.
