About Desmond Morris
Desmond Morris is a famous English scholar whose wide range of knowledge extends to fields like human sociobiology, zoology, and ethology. He started his career as a lecturer at Chiseldon Army College, but shot to fame as the director of the 1950 films “The Butterfly and the Pin” and “Time Flower”.
His research on the behavior of animals has established him as one of the most influential zoologists in the United Kingdom. In 1967, he published perhaps his most popular work entitled “The Naked Ape: A Zoologist's Study of the Human Animal”.

As part of efforts to share his knowledge, the highly-rated English zoologist has written many books with the most popular ones titled “The Human Zoo” and “The Naked Woman: A Study of the Female Body”. He has also written many films and TV shows.

He lost his dad, Harry Morris, at the age of 14 years. His mum is called Marjorie Hunt. Morris married his wife Ramona Baulch in 1952. They had a child called Jason.

This celebrity studied at Dauntsey's School before attending the University of Oxford, and the University of Birmingham.
