About DeSean Jackson
American football player DeSean Williams Jackson featured on the California Golden Bears team of the University of California from 2005 to 2007 before entering the 2008 NFL Draft. He was chosen by the Philadelphia Eagles through which he made his NFL debut in the same year. He went on to play for the Washington Redskins for two years (2014 to 2016) after which he moved to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2017. He returned to Philadelphia Eagles in 2019.
Family Life
He was born to Gayle and Bill Jackson. He grew up in Crenshaw, Los Angeles. His older brother, Byron, also played football.
Achievements
He played in the Pro Bowl games of 2009, 2010 and 2013. During his college career, he made it to the first teams of the both the All-American and All-Pac-10 twice.
Controversy
In July 2020, was accused of being antisemitic after he shared a quote condemning white Jews on his Instagram account. He falsely claimed it was said by Adolf Hitler. He apologized after being called out for and educated on it.
