About Dean Martin
Dean Martin was an American singer. Often nicknamed as the “King of Cool”, he managed to have a 50 year career during which he also acted in films and comedies and he produced some of them. His “cool”, warm and relaxed voice earned him many top charting hits.
Along with comedian Jerry Lewis, they made a successful comedy duo named Martin and Lewis. The duo appeared in television shows and films. As soon as his solo career took off, Dean Martin formed the Rat Pack, a famous social group of the 60s era, along with Frank Sinatra and others. After that, “The Dean Martin show” was the next big step in his career.
He died of lung cancer in the age of 78 in his house in Beverly Hills.
