David Feherty is a retired Northern Irish-born American golfer whose golfing career saw him clinch five European Tour wins and two Irish PGA Championships among other accomplishments. He went on to gain further recognition as a television personality appearing on PGA Tour on CBS as a commentator and starring on the television series Feherty.
Family Life
His first marriage was to Caroline Feherty. After he and Caroline divorced in 1995, he got married to Anita Feherty, with whom he fathered a child. He also has two children from his previous marriage.
Trivia
In 2006, he revealed for the first time of his battle with alcohol addiction and depression.
He almost lost his life in 2008 after being hit by a vehicle while he was cycling. The accident left him with a punctured lung and several broken ribs.
He gained his United States citizenship in 2010.
