David Cross is a stand-up comedian and actor.

Career

David Cross has been in stand-up since the age of 17. In the early 1990s, he was a part of the comedy club Catch a Rising star with comedians like Louis C.K. His first television appearance was on The Ben Stiller Show, for which his work won him an Emmy Award. He has since had small roles on other TV shows. In 1995, David Cross became the co-creator of his popular HBO sketch-comedy series Mr. Show. His most known acting role is as Tobias Fünke on the cult hit Arrested Development.
