Danny Kaye was an award-winning actor, comedian and singer who starred in films such as Wonder Man, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, White Christmas and The Court Jester. In addition to his film career, he also had a successful career in music and released hits such as Dinah and Minnie the Moocher.
Personal Life
He was married to Sylvia Fine from 1940 until his death in 1987. He and Sylvia had a daughter, Dena in 1946.
Awards
He won two Golden Globe Awards for Best Actor for the films On the Riviera and Me and the Colonel. His work in film, music and radio earned him three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Trivia
In 1987, he was posthumously awarded with the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Ronald Reagan.
