About Danilo Pereira
Portuguese professional footballer Danilo Luís Hélio Pereira spent his youth career with the Lisbon-based clubs; Arsenal 72, Estoril and Benfica. He made his professional debut with the Italian club Parma, which sent him on loan first to Aris Thessaloniki FC in Greece and then to Roda in the Netherlands.
He also played in Portugal’s Primeira Liga with C.S. Maritimo from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, he joined FC Porto where he made 135 appearances, scored 15 goals and became a captain before joining Paris Saint-Germain in October 2020 on loan.
Personal Life
His mother, Quinta Djata, is a nurse. Pereira moved from Guinea-Bissau, where he was born, to Portugal, at the age of five, with his family. Although he was eligible to play for Guinea-Bissau, he chose to represent Portugal at the international level.
Achievements
He won the 2016 UEFA Euro and 2019 UEFA Nations League Finals as a member of the Portuguese national team.

Being a member of the Portuguese national team, Pereira has played alongside football great, Cristiano Ronaldo.
