Famous American actress Diana Dale Dickey has performed on stage and on a number of television series. Her portrayal of Merab in the Debra Granik-directed film "Winter's Bone" earned her the Independent Spirit Award for "Best Supporting Female" in February 2011.
Early Life
She left the University of Tennessee in 1984 to focus on her acting career. An honorary Master of Fine Arts degree from the university was given to her on December 10, 2015.
Career
Since the 1990s, she has acted in character in both commercial and indie movies. She is well-known for her recurring parts as Patty on the NBC comedy series "My Name Is Earl".
The Tennessee-born actress has played a number of different characters in movies like "The Pledge," "Being Flynn” which stared Robert De Niro, and "The Guilt Trip."
Dickey has also appeared in numerous Broadway productions, including "A Streetcar Named Desire" and "The Merchant of Venice".
“Grey's Anatomy”, “Ugly Betty”, and “Breaking Bad” are just a few of the many TV shows she has made guest appearances in.
