Cristina Fernández de Kirchner is an Argentine lawyer and politician best known for being the President of Argentina and the widow of the former president of Argentina Néstor Kirchner. She served as President of Argentina from 2007 to 2015 and was the second female President of Argentina after Isabel Martínez de Perón.

Family Life

She married Néstor Kirchner in 1975. She and Néstor had their first child Máximo in 1977. Their second child Florencia was born in 1990. The couple remained married until Néstor's death in 2010.

Trivia

In 2008, Forbes magazine placed her at number 13 on its list of the 100 most powerful women in the world. In 2014, she was placed at number 19 on that same list.
