About Craig Gordon
Scottish soccer player Craig Gordon started his career with Heart of Midlothian in 2001. The goalkeeper played for Cowdenbeath on loan for the 2001/02 season and upon his return to the club, he worked hard to rise to the top as first-choice goalkeeper. In 2007, he moved to Sunderland, where he played in the English Premier League. He returned to Scotland in 2014 to play for Celtic. After six years, he went back for a second stint with Heart of Midlothian. He started playing for the Scotland senior national team in 2004.
Family Life
He is the son of David Gordon, who also played as a goalkeeper for clubs in East Scotland. His mother’s name is Heather. He divorced his wife, Jennifer Gordon in 2018. He has been in a relationship with Summer Harl.
Achievements
He has won several Scottish Premierships, Scottish League Cups and Scottish Cups. He was the Scottish Football Writers’ Association’s Footballer of the Year twice.
Trivia
From 2012 to 2014, he went on a break due to knee injuries.
