Personal Life
Colin was a very active young boy in school and was at a point sacked for that. Even though his teachers saw it as a negative trait, it helped grow who he became as an adult career-wise. He is a very sports-oriented person and had his arm tattooed with five stars when for the fifth time, the European cup was won by Liverpool. He is known to be the husband of Carly Paradis and has mentioned that he is an atheist.
Career
He started his career in journalism for “The News Letter” then went on to do some work for Toronto Sun. He later became a staff member of BBC Radio 1. In 2002, he went to get interviewed for channel 4 as a presenter in entertainment but got into news presenting. A year later, he got into radio presenting on radio 1. In 2004 however, he worked as an MC for Leeds Festival.
Achievements
Murray has won several awards. In 2002, he was honored as the IPR Northern Ireland Entertainment journalist of the year. About three years later, he again was given the Feature Award for the documentary “The Trouble with Drugs” then in 2007, he became the Music Broadcaster of the year and received the award from Sony Radio Academy Awards.
