About Christian Lorenz
German keyboardist and musician, popularly known as the "Flake" is no other than Christian Lorenz. Being a former professional band member, he composed hit songs like "Ich Will" in 2001 and “Ohne Dich” in 2006.
Early Career
Lorenz discovered his love for music at an early age. At 16, he joined the "Feeling B" band in 1983. The band focused more on punk and rock and roll and was a solid success for nearly 10 years. When the young keyboardist was not putting the crowd into frenzy, he would sell jackets on the black market to make extra money. The group parted ways in the mid-90s.
Professional Career
Lorenz was still deeply rooted in his musical career. He joined a new band called "Rammstein" in 1994 and helped produce their first album, "Herzeleid"(Heartache). The keyboardist later composed 2019's "Deutschland" and "Zick Zack" in 2022. He has worked with labels such as Motor Music, Republic slash, and Universal.
Personal Life
Although Lorenz loved performing, he lived a bizarre and eccentric life that mostly got him arrested and fined by the police. He tied the knot with Jenny Rosemeyer in 2008.
Controversy
Lorenz was arrested in 1998 for lascivious behavior on stage after his graphic display of a sex toy during a live performance. He was eventually fined $100.
