Christa Theret abandoned her teaching dream to pursue a career in the film industry. At the age of 11 years, she earned her first acting role which was in the 2005 film “Headhunter”. Since then, the French actress has been cast in many films and TV series, but she’s globally recognized for her Andrée Heuschling role in the film “Renoir” which was released in 2012.
She also starred alongside Jérémy Kapone and Sophie Marceau in the 2008 comedy film “LOL (Laughing Out Loud)”.

Theret has been nominated for a number of high-profile prizes including the César Award, and the Lumières Award.
