About Chris Taylor
Christopher Armand Taylor Jr., popularly known as Chris Taylor, became known for his role as a utility player in the Major League Baseball. Although he was drafted into the MLB by the Seattle Mariners in 2012, he was sent off to begin his career in the minor league before he finally made his debut in the major league in 2014.
He had previously played collegiate baseball as a member of the University of Virginia’s Cavaliers baseball team. In 2016, he joined the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Family Life
Both his grandfather, Armand Taylor, and his father, Chris Taylor Sr., are alumni of Virginia Tech. They were both on the school’s wrestling team during their time there.
Achievements
In 2017, he won the “National League Championship Series Most Valuable Player” award.
Trivia
He became a city wrestling champion when he was on his middle school’s wrestling team.
