About Chord Overstreet
He is an American actor and singer who is prominent for his appearance on Fox's TV series, "Glee" (2009 - 2015), where he played the role of "Sam Evans". His debut single, "Homeland" was dropped in August of 2016 through the stables of Island Records and Safehouse Records.
Though he was brought up on a farm, his interest for music grew right from a tender age. His parents endorsed his musical dreams and he began playing the mandolin right from an early age. He soon moved on to learning the piano, drums, guitar and flute.
Family Life
He was born to mother, Julie Overstreet, who was a hairdresser. His father is an American country music singer and song writer, Paul Overstreet. His siblings include Summer, Harmony, Charity, Sky and Nash Overstreet, who is noted for being a guitarist for the musical ensemble, Hot Chelle Rae.

He got nominated for the "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series" at the 2011 Screen Actors Guild Awards. And in the following year, he was nominated for "Favorite Breakout Star" at the 2012 Hollywood Teen TV Awards.
He won the "Choice TV: Male Scene Stealer" at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards.
He got nominated for the "Choice TV Actor: Comedy" at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards.
