About Chiquis
Janney Marín Rivera, known professionally as Chiquis, is an American singer and television personality. She is best known as the daughter of the late American singer, Jenni Rivera.
She debuted as a professional singer in 2014 with a single titled Paloma Bianca, which was a tribute to her mother. The following year, she released her first album named, Ahora.
Rivera is also a prominent television personality, known for her appearances in many reality television series – some of them are Jenni Rivera Presents: Chiquis & Raq-C, I Love Jenni, Chiquis n’ Control and The Riveras.
Family Life
She has two siblings; Jacqueline and Michael, and two step-siblings from her mother’s second marriage. Her stepfather is a Mexican baseball player, Esteban Loaiza, who was her mother’s husband at the time of her death.
Her uncles are Lupillo and Juan Rivera, both prominent singers. She is also the niece of Rosie Rivera, American businesswoman and TV personality.
Achievements
She has received the Lo Nuestro Awards for “Regional Mexican Female Artist of the Year” in 2016.
