Charles Rocket was the professional alias of Charles Adams Claverie, an American actor, comedian, television news reporter and musician. His on-screen entertainment career, which began in 1980 via “Saturday Night Live”, spanned 25 years. After he was dismissed from the show in 1981, he turned his focus to films and later became a successful film star. His best-known roles include Dave Dennison in “Hocus Pocus” and Nicholas Andre in “Dumb and Dumber”.
Family Life
He was the offspring of Sumner Abbott Claverie and Mary Aurelia Fogler. He had a son named Zane through his marriage to Beth Crelin, who used to be his college girlfriend.
Achievements
He won a Golden Globe Award for his portrayal of Wally Littleton in the comedy film, “Short Cuts”.
