Chadwick Boseman’s notable acting career saw him take up roles of legendary figures in numerous biographical films including the 2014’s “Get on Up”, where he played hip-hop singing legend, James Brown. However, the highly-endowed actor will mostly be remembered for playing the titular character in the 2018 award-wining superhero film, “Black Panther”.
Additionally, he featured in other popular films like 2019’s action thriller film, “21 Bridges” and 2020’s “Da 5 Bloods”.

In the year 1995, Boseman became a graduate of T. L. Hanna High School. He furthered his education by obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Howard University in 2000. He also studied at the Digital Film Academy in New York City.

Death
Boseman lost his life, in August of 2020, after a 4-year battle with colon cancer. Dozens of well-known celebrities paid tribute to the actor following his demise. Some of such personalities include Don Cheadle, Chris Evans, Brie Larson, and Dwayne Johnson.
American politician, Kamala Harris also expressed her heartbreak over the actor’s death.
Trivia
His maiden TV role came in 2003 when he starred in the crime drama series, “Third Watch”. Ten years later, he played baseball legend, Jackie Robinson in the biographical sports film entitled, “42”.
Aside from his versatility in acting, Boseman was also a gifted writer, whose work for the stage play titled, Deep Azure earned him a nomination at the “Jeff Award” in 2006.
He practiced vegetarianism.
