Cassandra Rae Steele’s first acting gig was in a 2001 commercial for Fib Finder. She has gone on to make a name for herself through the television series “Degrassi: The Next Generation” on which she appeared for nine years (from 2001 to 2010) as Manny Santos. She is also known for starring in the Canadian television series, “The L.A. Complex” as Abby Vargas.
Personal Life
She studied jazz and ballet dance at the Ontario-based London School of Dance. She split from her actor husband Trent Garrett in the summer of 2020 after being married for less than two years.
Music Career
She made her music career debut in 2005 with the album, “How Much for Happy”. The album, along with her second one “Destructo Doll”, has received gold certification from Music Canada.
